Homemade Toys: Color Sorter

1) I glued a different color of tissue paper in each section of a plastic fruit tray

2) Then I gave these colored chips to my daughter (I use larger manipulatives for younger children)

3) She loves to sort colors!

Homemade Toys: Ladybugs & Bumblebees

1) I bought these wood slices from Oriental Trading (but you could just use rocks)

 2) Then I painted half of them red and half of them yellow

3) I used a black sharpie to add details

4) They can be used for many things, but my kids love to play tic tac toe with them

5) I bought a wooden tray and painted it with chalkboard paint
Now it's a travel game
